Dorm life!
At the end of the first week here we had welcome to Montana night.

We dressed up as rednecks.
It rained a lot at first.
Visa applications!

Sometimes you have to make do with just one car.
I tried to dress up as Tonks for the base harvest party.
These are my roommates, and I love them.

I carved a pumpkin for the first time! (pretend I don't have bed head.)
Matt, me, Rachel, and Caleb.

So much.

This week has been on the holy spirit. I don't even know what to say yet, its been incredible, and powerful, and intense, and I feel so exhausted and overwhelmed.
Monday our speaker walked in the room for the first time and said that he wanted to just start the week by praying for everyone. He then proceeded for the next two hours to prophesy over every person in the room. It was amazing, but only the start to the week. So many things have happened, and I think that I have seen God work more in this one week than all the rest of my life. This school is full of so many fantastic people, and I am so blessed.
We only have a couple weeks left before we leave for outreach, so please pray for our teams as we prepare for that. Also keep finances in your prayers, as there are a few people, myself included, that do not have all of their money in yet.
Health is also a big issue right now. Besides the colds that are always going around in community living situations like this, I have lost a lot of weight since I've been here. I am so thankful for all the people that take care of me! Yesterday I got two boxes of protein bars in the mail, and someone here just came back from the store with a grocery bag full of carbs and avocados for me to eat!
Since I've been here I've been praying about what God would have me do after this, and I believe that I am called to spend more time working at this base after DTS. Because YWAM is a nonprofit organization everyone here lives completely on donations from their supporters, which is a really difficult idea for me to get used to. I know that God is faithful though, and will always provide.
Thank you for being a part of what God is doing here! I am so thankful to have all of you in my life.

Finally.

OKAY. When we got back from mini outreach I found my laptop charger completely broken, so I have not been able to use a computer for weeks. The new on finally came in the mail, and I will try to recap everything that has been going on for you.
Oregon was awesome. We really just focused on spending time with their base in prayer and worship, and it was great to hear God speaking into our lives. In the evenings we did some outreach on the streets in Salem, which was a very laid back time to minister and pray with people.
On our last night there we went into Portland and did a homeless outreach all night which I absolutely loved. We broke into groups of 4 or 5 and just walked around giving out sandwiches for dinner and talking to people. Our group talked to one guy for the whole time and I think that we got just as much out of it as he did.
Our first week back was on relationships, by Phil Manginelli, and he was a fantastic speaker. A lot of what he went over I have heard already, but we also did a study on Song of Songs and I got a lot out of that.
This week has been on hearing the voice of God, and I think it may have been my favorite week so far. People are discovering gifts that they never knew they had, and I am seeing God move in so many ways.
Tonight we are going to a local coffee shop to hear the music track perform!
When we come back I will try to give you all some more details.
